Dr Kumaresh ENT Clinic – 9 Clinic Policies & Appointment Guidelines

Welcome to Dr Kumaresh ENT Clinic. Our aim is to provide every patient with safe, fair, consistent and efficient care.

A busy specialist clinic works best when appointments, consultations, prescriptions and records are handled in a clear and structured manner. These guidelines are designed to make your visit smoother while ensuring that every patient receives the time and clinical attention they deserve.

Please take a few moments to review our 9 clinic guidelines before your visit.

1. Safety & Surveillance

For the safety and security of our patients and staff, clinic rooms are under CCTV surveillance. Audio recording is also active in select rooms.

This helps maintain a safe clinical environment and provides appropriate documentation when required.

2. Appointment Policy

Appointments are attended to on a first-come, first-served basis within the scheduled time slot.

If you are unable to arrive within your scheduled slot, please call the clinic in advance. We will do our best to accommodate you appropriately.

Patients arriving outside their scheduled appointment slot without prior notice will be seen after patients with confirmed appointments in that slot, subject to availability.

This system helps us respect everyone’s scheduled consultation time.

3. Consultation Charges & Follow-Up

The consultation fee is ₹700 and is valid for follow-up within 5 days.

  • Follow-up visits after 5 days will incur the standard review charge.
  • Visits after 10 days from the first appointment will be treated as a fresh consultation.
  • Please retain and bring your consultation or prescription record for follow-up visits.
  • If the original record is unavailable, the visit will be treated as a new consultation.

Keeping your records available helps us understand your previous assessment and provide continuity of care.

4. Billing Policy

Consultation fees are fixed and applied uniformly to every patient.

Each individual requires a separate clinical assessment. Therefore, when several members of a family attend the clinic together, each person is billed separately.

Similarly, a request to examine another family member during an existing consultation is treated as a separate consultation.

This ensures that every patient receives appropriate clinical attention.

5. In-Clinic Procedure Charges

Charges for procedures performed in the clinic are separate from consultation fees.

Current procedure charges are displayed on the clinic board for patient reference, helping maintain transparency regarding the cost of services.

6. Medication & Prescription Policy

Our medication policy is displayed on the clinic board. Prescriptions are valid for the period specified on the consultation sheet.

Requests to continue self-medication beyond the prescribed period, or to change a generic prescription to a specific brand at a later date, require a follow-up consultation.

For safe prescribing, please provide your complete medical history, including:

  • Previous medication reactions
  • Current medications
  • Relevant medical conditions
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status, where applicable

Patients should avoid extending medication independently beyond the prescribed period.

The clinic cannot be responsible for outcomes arising from prolonged self-medication or from a retailer dispensing an incorrect medicine when a generic prescription is used to request a specific brand.

7. Payment

We currently accept UPI or cash payments only.

Debit and credit cards have not been accepted at the clinic since 2021.

8. Receipts & Records

An official receipt is issued immediately for every payment, and digital transaction records are archived.

For standard audit and accounting purposes, backdated or duplicate receipts cannot be reissued.

Please preserve your original receipts carefully, particularly when they are required for insurance, tax or personal records.

9. Acceptance of Clinic Guidelines

By registering for a consultation, you confirm that the information provided to the clinic is accurate to the best of your knowledge and agree to these clinic guidelines.

Clinic records, including CCTV footage, may be used as documentation when necessary to address discrepancies or misrepresentation of information relating to a visit.

Our Commitment to You

These guidelines are not intended to make your visit complicated. They are in place to help us maintain fairness, transparency, patient safety and continuity of care for everyone who visits Dr Kumaresh ENT Clinic.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. By following these simple guidelines, you help us provide a more organised and consistent experience for every patient.
